More on Mr Umapathy
Mr Umapathy completed his primary medical training in India and began his post graduate training in the UK in 1996. He was awarded fellowship in ENT surgery (FRCS ENT) by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) in 1999. Further to his higher specialist training, he was subsequently awarded fellowship in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS) in 2004 by the Inter Collegiate Specialty Board of Examinations by the Combined Royal Colleges of Surgeons.
Mr Umapathy has completed his higher specialist training in the West Midlands region rotating through 7 hospitals including Birmingham Children Hospital and the University Hospital Birmingham. He has been enrolled in the GMC’s (General Medical Council’s) Specialist Register since 2006 as a highly qualified specialist ENT surgeon.
